Noise barriers will also be installed to help reduce the environmental impact on surrounding communities.Construction on the ŠėtaRamygala (Part II) section is scheduled for completion in the final quarter of 2027. The work will be co-financed by the European Union and Lithuanias national budget. The ŠėtaRamygala contract is part of a broader programme of works being undertaken along the rail Baltica route in Lithuania. Additional tenders are expected to be finalised this year for the construction of other embankment sections, including KaunasŠveicarija, RamygalaBerčiūnai, and BerčiūnaiJoniškėlis.
